CCMA NATIONAL JAMBOREE

"June 8th 1968 saw the first official Jamboree and Talent Quest. Over 1200 people packed the Tamworth Town Hall to see 65 Artists and 11 musicians appear in the greatest show Tamworth had ever seen. People came as far away as Brisbane Qld to enjoy [the] class entertainment that continued for over 5 hours."

Continuing this fine tradition, the current CCMA Committee hold the NATIONAL JAMBOREE annually, on the Wednesday of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, at the iconic Tamworth Town Hall. This is a FREE CONCERT and awards presentation ceremony thanks to The TAMWORTH REGIONAL COUNCIL sponsorship. ALL are WELCOME.

The NATIONAL JAMBOREE features the NATIONAL SONGWRITING AWARDS & THE NATIONAL TALENT QUEST winners alongside professional recording artists, backed by a selection of Australia's finest musicians to form the CCMA BAND.
